Review by Budisastro Santosa

Timeless, the collaborative album by Miles Davis and Charlie Parker, is a masterpiece that deserves a place in every jazz enthusiast's collection. Released in 1947, this album is a testament to the musical genius of both artists and serves as a timeless reminder of the golden age of jazz.

The album features nine tracks, including some of the most iconic jazz standards of all time. The opening track, "Donna Lee," showcases Parker's virtuosity on the saxophone, while Davis' trumpet adds a layer of complexity to the composition. Other tracks like "Cheryl" and "Milestones" are equally impressive, with each artist pushing the boundaries of jazz improvisation and experimentation.

What sets Timeless apart is the chemistry between Davis and Parker. The two artists complement each other perfectly, with Davis' cool and understated style contrasting Parker's frenetic energy. The result is a musical conversation that is both captivating and inspiring.
